Video 10.1. Atrioventricular nodal ablation by catheter cryoablation. A patient with atrial fibrillation and cardiomyopathy underwent cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillation implantation with a low percentage of biventricular pacing because of a fast ventricular rate. Atrioventricular nodal ablation was achieved with an 8 mm tip cryocatheter. In contrast with radiofrequency ablation, no preprocedural device programming is required for cryoablation.
