Video 5.6. Phrenic nerve pacing (superior vena cava) – upside-down technique of phrenic nerve pacing. The advantage of phrenic nerve pacing in the upside-down technique is the very stable catheter position and contact near the phrenic nerve. Pacing between the electrodes 1 and 3 increases the electrical field to reliably capture the phrenic nerve during isolation of the right upper pulmonary vein.
