Video 5.8. Frozen lung tissue – occlusion of left upper pulmonary vein. Optimal occlusion and alignment of the right upper pulmonary vein with a 28 mm balloon. This position demonstrates the level of occlusion of the left upper pulmonary vein, which is distensible in the proximal part. Therefore, the 28 mm balloon could be advanced slightly inside the pulmonary vein to create a complete occlusion. This may be the reason for a close position to lung tissue.
