Video 7.1. Pulmonary vein isolation by catheter cryoablation. Pulmonary vein isolation by a 28 mm cryoballoon in a patient with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation is described in this video. Pulmonary venogram revealed a left common ostium that presented an extra challenge to the procedure. The use of a novel inner lumen circular-mapping catheter allowed real-time monitoring of pulmonary vein potentials during cryoablation. (This video includes an audio commentary.)
